Ningbo final of 6th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held

The final of the Ningbo branch of the 6th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on August 25. At last, 20 enterprises out of the 34 candidates won the final awards and they will attend the national final on behalf of the Ningbo division of the competition.

China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the largest, highest and most influential competition of its kind, is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. The competition of the Ningbo division is hosted by Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau, and undertaken by Ningbo Angel Investment Club and Ningbo Sci-tech Financial Service Center. After six years’ efforts, the competition has been built as an important platform for value discovery, financial docking and industrial communication for the enterprises in Ningbo involved in innovation and entrepreneurship.

129 start-up enterprises and 240 growth enterprises attended the competition of the Ningbo division. After the qualification examination, the preliminary contest and the semi-final, 34 enterprises entered the final. At last, Ningbo Jianxin Nuclear Magnetic Technology Co. Ltd. won the special award of 500,000 yuan, and the Hughstar Advanced Material Technology Co. Ltd., the Visu Auto Technology (Ningbo) Co. Ltd. and Ningbo CAEP-Lituo Supermicro Materials Co. Ltd. won the first prize of 200,000 yuan respectively. 16 other enterprises won the second and third prizes with the awards of 100,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan respectively. The other 14 enterprises won such awards as top technology awards, top team awards, top model awards and most potential awards.

Reportedly, the candidates of the competition cover such fields as electronic information, internet and mobile internet, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, new materials, and new energy and energy conservation, with the internet and mobile internet, the advanced manufacturing and the new energy and energy conservation ranking top three. Compared with the previous sessions, the attending enterprises this year boast higher technology content, with a total of 998 patents, including 410 invention patents.
